Holly was the 3rd woman to have been married. Her first wedding was with actor Danny Quinn. They got married in 1991 and divorced in 1993. Jim Carrey and she first came across each other in 1994, while doing auditions in the role of Ace Ventura Pet Detective. Although she was not given the job, Jim Carrey and she became close during filming for Dumb and Dumber. The couple married in 1996. Their wedding lasted only a short time prior to their split at the end of 1997. The year 2001 saw Holly was married Francis Greco. A Canadian native, Greco was an investment banker. When she got married in 2008 to Greco she became a Canadian citizen. The couple split in 2014. Holly is a mother of three children living in Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant and their respective families established their own A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as the "boy full of ideas, hopes and dreams". Alexander was only 14 years old old when he passed away however, he travelled across Central America and Europe, and lived in New York City, and Los Angeles. His experiences inspired him in architecture and archaeology.

Alaina Suddeth is the child of Kristy Suddeth (Rossville, Georgia) and J. J. Suddeth. The father of Alaina is a Chattanooga tech. Alaina began singing at the age of three. Following a long vacation of a year singing in the kids choir. Apart from singing at the restaurant and church as well, she sang at family reunions, holiday parties in addition to anyplace else within a thirty-mile distance. Alaina won in the Southern Stars Pageant talent contest at age 8. Next year, she was chosen to take part on the Kids talent stage at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. The stage was used every year until she reached the age of 12, after which she took home the prize that allowed her to appear on the main stage of the festival. At the age of 10 years old, she went to Orlando to compete at the American Model and Talent Competition. She beat 1,500 contestants in the finals to win the crown. Alaina sang with the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's kids' group. Alaina's first trip to Nashville was when she was of twelve. She performed at Tootsie's Bar, which is a bar in the area on Broadway. Alaina, who is born on the 29th of September 1989, was the winner of the WinniSTAR Talent competition, which was open to youngsters who live at Lake Winnepesaukah. Alaina found her inspiration to perform by observing Holly Witherow. Holly was sufering from a brain tumour. Alaina was a Pizza Hut employee prior to joining Idol. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School located within Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
